Don’t Give It a Second Thought

Pain is your body’s way of telling you that something is wrong. If you come to see me for pain, I will seek out and treat the underlying condition to relieve you of pain. When you’re in pain, it’s the only thing you can think about. And you have much more important things to think about than that.

In a world that demands our productivity, it’s tempting to try to “tough it out” with pain. But ignoring pain limits your activities and can solidify unhealthy posture patterns. Masking pain by taking pain relievers regularly can affect your internal organs. So listen to your pain — and do something about it.
